Technischer Projektleiterassistent (m/w) für Logistik-GU-Projekte

Ihre Kernaufgaben: Ihre Aufgaben umfassen die Erstellung und laufende Aktualisierung eines Masterlayouts über die Gewerke sowie die aktive Schnittstellenkoordination mit Lieferanten- und Baugewerken (Zusammenführung, Kollisionsprüfung, Detailabklärungen, Lösungsvorschläge, …) bei der Realisierung unserer Kundenprojekte (Logistikanlagen). The Computer Laboratory is looking for a Research Associate to work on research project „UBHAVE: ubiquitous and social computing for positive behaviour change“, funded by EPSRC. This multi-disciplinary project aims at developing mobile phone sensing and social network technologies to devise efficient and effective social psychology behaviour interventions. The Cambridge Computer Laboratory leads the technical effort of the project and will be deeply involved in devising and testing the technology as well as in the analysis of the data collected through trials.

The successful candidate will have a PhD in Computer Science with a strong background in mobile systems, mobile development and/or sensing. Some analytical skills for data analysis will be also appreciated.

3D video is widely perceived as the next major advancement in video technology. However, current solutions based on stereoscopic vision only exploit limited depth cues. In this PhD thesis, we will explore a new representation and compression framework for 3D video, with the potential to support all depth cues and to greatly enhanced user experience.

The candidate must hold a master degree in electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent. The candidate will have a strong knowledge in image and video processing, solid basis in mathematics, and good programming skills in Matlab or C/C++. The candidate will be fluent in English.

The doctoral research work will be carried out within the Multimedia Group (http://www.tsi.telecom-paristech.fr/mm/en/), in the Signal and Image Processing Department at Telecom ParisTech.
